Tim Commerford was born in 1968. Tim, aka: Simmering T, Tim Bob, Timmy C., Tim.com, Y.tim.K Tim, is the youngest of five kids. His father is an Aerospace Engineer, and his mother was a mathematican. His mother later died of brain cancer when he was twenty. Zack De La Rocha and Tim have been friends since elementery school. In the ninth grade it was Zack who turned Tim into playing bass. He was with Zack's old band Inside Out. Tim listens to jazz music and likes to write poetry and artwork. He is an obsessed mountain biker. Tim has had some run-ins with the law, and he has a hatred towards the police, and the way they treat people. As for Tim's aliases he says he does it, because "It's just fun". He plans to change his name for every album. Tim has a lot of tattoo work done on his body. He has a tattoo design that covers his back, arms, and chest. He also has a design on his left leg.
